The SAC has 8 tennis courts, with 3 year-round, all-weather courts - one floodlit, and 5 clay courts.

The clay courts are traditionally opened on 1st May, an event that is fêted by a Mayday Tournament to open the season and provides an occasion for new members to meet and mingle.

Coaching

Group coaching is available for children on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday all day.  Adult coaching takes place during the week and on Sunday morning on an individual booking basis.

Teams

The SAC fields a number of teams for local interclub and league home and away matches and a variety of individual tournaments at all levels from Juniors to Veterans.  An annual Club tournament takes place from mid-May to the end of June.

Licences

Competition players and juniors attending coaching classes are required to have FFT licenses, which can be obtained through the club.  

Guests

Guests are allowed to play tennis on weekdays at any time all year round and on weekends and public holidays before 12 noon and after 6 p.m. during the clay court season.  No restrictions apply between 15th July and 15th August.

Clothing

Tennis players are required to wear predominantly white and proper tennis shoes, especially during the clay court season.
