Subscription Rates for 2008

Membership of the SAC is for a calendar year from January 1st. The following rates apply to the calendar year of 2008. Pro-rata fees will be applicable from 1st June 2008. Members wishing to obtain special payment terms should apply to the Club Office for terms and conditions.

Entrance Fees

An Entrance Fee is payable by each adult on joining the Club. This currently stands at 750€ for the over 30's and at 260€ for the under 30's. The Entrance Fee must be paid as soon as membership becomes available and cannot be paid by instalment. However, 50% of the fee will be refunded if a Member is obliged (e.g. for professional reasons) to leave the Club within 12 months of joining.

 

Subscription fees

If a Member is obliged (e.g. ) to leave the Club for professional reasons during the year, a pro rata proportion of the annual fee may may be refunded; however, no refunds will be awarded after 30th September.

 

Adult Members must remain in the FULL category for a period of at least 3 years after joining the Club.

 

Senior Citizen membership applies to Members who have retired and reached the age of 60 on January 1st of the membership year.

Young Adult membership applies to persons aged 18 to 30 inclusive on January 1st of the membership year.

Young Adult Members must remain in the FULL category for a period of at least 3 years after joining the Club.

Upon reaching the age of 18, Club Members' children are encouraged to apply for membership in their own right. No Entrance Fee will then be required.

Junior membership applies to Club Members' children aged 11 to 17 inclusive on January 1st of the membership year. A Junior wishing to play more than a Junior's tennis allowance must first get the approval of the Tennis Committee for an Adult tennis card, and should then pay a Young Adult Fee.

Child membership applies to Club Members' children aged 5 to 10 inclusive on January 1st of the membership year. Those Children wishing to play more tennis should pay the Junior Fee.

Infant membership applies to Club Members' children aged under the age of 5 on January 1st of the membership year. Subscriptions become payable in the first calendar year after the 1st birthday of the child.

Seasonal membership is available for cricket, or football or hockey or squash. Use of the Club is restricted to the recognised season of the sport chosen. Use of any other facilities (e.g. tennis, swimming pool) is tolerated on the payment of the appropriate fee (from 225 Euros for Football, and from 210 to 300 Euros for other sports).

Country membership is reserved for Club Members actually residing over 100 km from the Club. Proof of residence must be provided. Country Members are entitled to 6 social visits, without payment, per annum. On these occasions, use of the tennis courts is tolerated on payment of the difference between a social and full temporary daily member's fee.

Temporary membership is available for Members' House Guests or persons residing in the Paris area for less than 1 year. Applications should be addressed to the Membership Committee. If the application is accepted, a pro-rata fee will be charged.

Supplementary Fees

Golf

A section fee of 13€ for over-18s and 8€ for under-18s must be paid. A separate form must be completed. Application for membership of the Villarceaux Golf Club through the SAC must be approved beforehand by the Golf Committee.

 

Temporary Daily Memberships

Temporary Daily Memberships are available for Members' guests and visitors. There is a limit to the number of times a guest may be invited and the total number of guests a member may bring. These fees must be paid at the entry to the club prior to full  admission to the premises. The fees payable may be found in the Members Only section of this site.
