The Football (Soccer) section is oldest in the Club and one of the reasons for the founding of  the Club in 1890.

Indeed, showing a prowess that can, alas, no longer be matched today, the SAC won the very first French Football Championship held in 1894, and is one of the oldest surviving football clubs in France.

The SAC has its own pitch in the grounds at Meudon, and is an active participant in local football leagues and Cup Competitions that feature both home and away matches. The Club teams play on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings throughout the season, which runs from September to May.

The Saturday side plays in the Paris Ile de France regional league while the Sunday team play friendly matches. 

Training takes place every Thursday evening throughout the season.
