The Cactus Brass Band
Friday, 16th May

 The Cactus Brass Band will be playing for the members of the Standard Athletic Club and their friends on Friday, 16 May at 7.30 pm. Weather permitting they will start off by playing in the gardens and will then move inside where a buffet dinner will be served. The price per person is 15 Euros.
An event not to be missed and don't forget to reserve early - the deadline for reservations is 10 May 2008.

Junior Cricket

Calling all budding Freddie Flintoffs!

This first of this year's free junior cricket sessions will take place on May 18 from 10h30-12h. No cricketing experience is necessary and all gear will be provided (but do bring yours if you have some).

at The Standard Athletic Club,
on Tuesday 3rd June 2008
from 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

Members of the SAC together with their guests may attend. Should you wish to do so, you will find an application form by following

Clap your hands, tap your feet and shake to the rhythm of the West Land Jazz Band

Join us at the Standard Athletic Club for a jazz concert and dinner

The West Land Jazz Band plays New Orleans jazz in clubs in Paris and also in Meudon.

A sit-down dinner will be served: 'Salade Folle', lamb curry with Basmati rice, salad, cheese and a delicious tiramisu.

The price per person is 28euros and reservations should be made well in advance.

Members of the SAC should reserve at the bar and confirm by paying by cheque.

Non-members are welcome and should contact Mary Cauchard to confirm their participation.
